Our three county area contains more than 28,000 in civilian labor force but there are more than 90,000 workers within a 30 minute commute. This includes neighboring counties but does not include Atlanta or Macon which means you have a huge population area to draw workers.
The workforce pipeline of young graduates can be secured through the efforts of each of our county's collaboration with Gordon State College in Barnesville, Georgia Military College satellite campus in Zebulon and Southern Crescent Technical College in Thomaston and Griffin campuses.
