BARNESVILLE- Atlanta Motive Power Service LLC, a sales and service provider for industrial batteries and chargers, announced it will open its new Barnesville operation in a new 20,000 sq. ft. building in Legacy Industrial Park off Hwy. 41.

“Our goal has always been to expand our business and Legacy Industrial Park fits the vision for us now and in the future,” said owner Austin Woods. “Legacy Industrial Park in Barnesville, Ga is the perfect location for the expansion of AMPS.”

Covering all areas of Georgia, Alabama and North Florida, AMPS is the number one provider of Eternity Technologies batteries in the southeast, which manufacturers industrial batteries worldwide with its US base in Texas. AMPS also services all makes and brands of forklift batteries and chargers along with other motive power equipment. “We provide on-site maintenance for all industrial batteries and chargers, increasing production and eliminating down time,”

A Pike County native, Woods is joined in the business with his wife, Kayla and a very professional team. AMPS takes pride in being a family-owned business and brings with them 9 experienced employees in the Motive Power Field to Barnesville. AMPS will be accepting resumes for additional jobs in the near future. An official ribbon cutting celebration will be held on December 1st,2023 at 10:30. Lunch will be provided for anyone who would like to attend.
